How it works
Bokkidee brings together people looking for things to do and those who organise them. Here is, simply, how it works for both.
For participants
1Create your account
It’s free. Sign up with your e-mail or phone number, then choose your city and interests.
2Pick an activity
Outings, workshops, regular classes, getaways: filter by city or interest and check details, photos and reviews.
3Book and pay
Pay online in a few clicks (Wave, Orange Money and others in Senegal, Cash Plus or Wafacash in Morocco). Your seat is held while you pay.
4Get your ticket
As soon as payment is confirmed, you receive your ticket with a QR code and your receipt, by e-mail and in “My bookings”. Coming as a group? You get one QR for the whole group and one QR per person.
5Show your QR
On the day, show the QR code to the organiser: one QR for the whole group, or one each. A reminder is sent the day before.
6Meet people
Find partners who like the same things, invite them, chat and join groups.

For organisers
1Create your account
Free sign-up. Then click “New activity”: your organiser profile is activated in one click.
2Choose the type
Single outing, multi-day getaway, or regular activity (classes, jet ski…) with your days and several time slots per day.
3Publish
Title, photo, price, number of places (unlimited possible for classes), location. Several prices possible (Adult/Child, Standard/VIP, Stand/Pitch…) with a price and places per category. Our team approves before it goes live.
4Receive bookings
You are notified of each booking and see the participant list. Customers pay on the platform: you collect nothing.
5Check tickets
Scan the participant’s (or their group’s) QR code with your phone’s camera: each place enters only once, and you see how many people are already in.
6Get paid
We pay you once the activity has started, minus a 20% commission. With the “Verified identity” badge, an advance of 30% is possible before the activity.
FAQ
Do I have to pay to sign up?
No. Sign-up is free for participants and organisers alike. Participants only pay for paid activities; organisers only pay a 20% commission on seats sold.
Which payment methods?
In Senegal: Wave, Orange Money and other methods offered by our provider PayTech. In Morocco: Cash Plus or Wafacash at an agency, or PayTech depending on the activity.
What if the activity is cancelled?
You are notified and refunded what you paid. For a regular class, the organiser can cancel a single session: only those booked on that session are refunded.
Can I cancel my booking?
Before paying, yes, from “My bookings”. Once paid, contact the organiser or our team: the refund depends on the situation.
Where do I find my ticket and receipt?
In “My bookings”, open the booking then “My ticket” or “My receipt”. You also get them by e-mail if you signed up with an e-mail address.
I signed up with my phone, what do I get?
Your ticket and receipt are available anytime in your account, under “My bookings”. You can print them or save them as PDF.
How are organisers paid?
All payments are collected by Bokkidee. We pay the organiser their share (minus the 20% commission) once the activity has started, using the method set in their space (Wave, Orange Money, bank transfer…). An advance of 30% is possible for verified organisers.
What does “Verified identity” mean?
The organiser sent us an ID document and a selfie, checked by our team. It is a sign of seriousness, not a guarantee: stay vigilant, as with any meeting.
Why is my activity not online yet?
Every activity is reviewed by our team before publication. You are notified as soon as it is approved. For activities with minors or overnight stays, the organiser’s identity must be verified first.
Can I offer several prices for one activity?
Yes. The organiser creates their own ticket categories (for example Adult, Child, VIP, Stand, Pitch, Student), each with its own price and number of places. Participants choose the quantity of each category and pay the total at once. Regular classes keep a single price.
I am buying for a group: one QR for all or one QR per person?
You get both, by e-mail and in “My bookings”. The group QR lets everyone in at once; the individual QRs let each person arrive separately (send them their ticket with the “Link to share” button). A place can only enter once, whichever QR is shown.
Can I offer a free activity?
Yes. Set the price to 0: the booking is then confirmed immediately, without payment, and the participant receives their ticket.
